Housing in Singapore
Property prices in Singapore are relatively costly. Therefore, you make a plan before moving to Singapore. There are several types of housing to rent in Singapore, such as HDB flats, condominiums, semi-detached houses. You can choose it depending on your budget.
You can rent a room or an entire unit of the above selection via property agents in Singapore and/or through local newspapers (Straits Times is a good guide) and websites. Property agents are prompt in housing search as they charge a commission, averaging from a month's rent, etc. Hence, be prepared of the additional costs before engaging their services.
Monthly rental fees can include utilities and other miscellaneous costs or does not, hence the latter might appear cheaper. Please check carefully with the property agent or owner before confirming the unit.
